Taking A Step

I always believe about connecting the dots. Where in every dot I am destined to be, I pick up new friends. So as I move along, I have greater love. And as I complete the picture, I more understand why I had to meet someone. And they all make sense.

Donnez moi un Drapé...

Moi qui détestais les plis...depuis ma tendre enfance...un dégoût presque phobique d'ailleurs...dû à une prof d'E.M.T. qui me terrorisait, un brin sadique, un brin monstrueuse. Elle nous donnait des cours de couture de la même façon qu'elle nous aurait donné des cours de math, tout était calculé aux millimètres et moi les millimètres je détestais...alors au final, c'était ma grand mère qui me faisait mes travaux pratiques...un jour nous avions un cours sur les plis...plis soleil, plis basque et j'en passe avec obligation d'en réaliser un exemplaire de chaque et elle répétait, vous vous souviendrai de moi quand vous ferez vos jupes...je n'ai jamais fait de jupe à plis, de peur de me rappeler ne serait ce que son visage et son allure particulièrement ingrats...

Bilan...j'en reviens à mes moutons, je détestais les plissés, les drapés...jusqu'à ce que Christopher Bailey les remettent à nouveau au goût du jour !!



Cela bouillonne, cela plisse, cela drape...une élégance résolument bon genre et raffinée, qui prend des tournures très sexy et glamour, lorsque le drapé se torsade en "bondage"...






Burberry Prorsum nous joue donc les drapés sous toutes les coutures...

Et puis comme il nous a mis l'eau à la bouche...on continue sur ces inspirations "plissées"...

Bike To Work

Soooooooo...I'm actually gonna participate in this Wintogeno video contest hehehehe....if you've been reading my blog since the beginning of 2010, one of my resolutions is to visit Thailand...who knows I'll win and actually be able to realize it for free! ;p

The challenge is pretty easy...make a video persuading your partner to ride bike to work...any ideas, peeps? It would be great if you guys participate too cuz it'll be so much fun competing with you all...the more the merrier!! ;p
